The shaftless trommel screen has a larger, unobstructed internal screening surface than the shafted trommel screen. The shaftless trommel screen has no shaft, and the trommel is welded by spiral blades and screen mesh. This design not only improves the output and screening accuracy, but also improves the safety and service life of the shaftless trommel screen.

The capacity of the shaftless trommel screens is 20% higher than that of the shafted trommel screens. Shaftless trommel screen also has a good effect on materials that are easy to entangle and difficult to screen. It overcomes the screen clogging problem of circular vibrating screen and linear screen when screening wet materials, and improves the output and reliability of the screening system.

Trommel screen consists of a motor, gear, screen plates, supporting frame, inlet, and outlet. The trommel drum cylinder is tilted on the rack, and the motor is driven by the reducer to rotate the drum unit around its axis.

After the material enters the drum device, the tilting and rotation cause the material on the screen surface to flip, roll, and crush agglomerated particles. Meanwhile, materials blocked in the screen mesh are ejected to prevent sieve hole clogging.

As a result, qualified material (the product under the screen) is discharged through the bottom discharge port, while unqualified material (the product on the screen) is discharged through the tail discharge port.
