Hammer Mill

The Hammer Mill is widely used in the mining, building materials, chemical, metallurgy, and animal feed industries. It is suitable for crushing materials of medium or low hardness into medium or fine-sized particles. Commonly processed materials include limestone, calcite, talc, gypsum, coal, coke, clay, slag, and other similar materials.

Working Principle

Electric motor drives the rotor via a V-belt, causing the hammers mounted on the rotor to rotate at high speed. After the material enters the crushing chamber, it is struck, impacted, and cut by the hammers, and further impacted by the impact plate, ultimately being crushed. The end product is discharged through the bottom bars. The end product size can be adjusted by adjusting the bar gap.
