Shaking Table
Descriptions
Mining shaking tables—also known as gravimetric tables, concentrating tables, mineral shaker tables, or gold shaking tables—are among the most widely used and efficient gravity separation tools for high-precision enrichment and purification of fine-grained ores. They are extensively used to process rare and precious metal ores, including gold, copper, tin, tantalum, niobium, iron, manganese, and chromium. Capable of handling roughing, concentrating, and scavenging stages, a mineral shaking table can yield multiple product grades in a single pass: high-grade concentrate, secondary concentrate, middlings, and tailings. With its unmatched sorting precision and operational flexibility, the mining shaker table serves as the “standard balance” in gravity separation, playing a critical role in the final recovery of precious metals and high-value minerals.
Working Principle
Ore slurry is fed into the feeding trough at the corner of the shaking table deck, while horizontal wash water is supplied alongside it. Separation takes place across the inclined deck surface through the combined forces of asymmetrical reciprocating mechanical motion and a thin, flowing layer of water. As mineral particles travel across the deck, they are stratified and sorted based on their specific gravity and water flow momentum. Consequently, particles of varying densities and sizes fan out in distinct directions, discharging into designated collection zones to form separate streams of concentrate, middlings, and tailings.
BMPE provides a wide range of popular mining shaking table types at factory-direct prices for sale. Our shaker tables by deck numbers: single-deck shaker tables, double-deck shaker tables, and multi-deck shaker tables.
- Small laboratory shaker, table dimensions: 1100*500*430mm.
- Standard shaker, table dimensions: 2100*1050*850mm.
- Industrial scale shaker, table dimensions: 4500*1850*1560mm.
The Industrial scale shaker is suitable for processing coarse sand (placer gold, chromite, ilmenite), fine sand separation (tungsten, tin, tantalum-niobium beneficiation), and ore sludge treatment, depending on the feed size. All shakers feature high efficiency, low energy consumption, and intelligent technology, and can be customized upon request.
